JonFabritius Thanks for thinking through it. It sounds like a lot of work for a feature that will be discovered by few and used by even fewer. I think we have more pressing things to do right now. This is sort of a 'cherry on top' feature.

    Brief Summary
Allow users to personalize the user interface of their browser new tab section by allowing them to change the icons of their favorite websites icons. Some of the icon is auto-crawled from the website, which is nice but sometimes does not work (I am not able to identify the reason why some websites have icons loaded on my tab bar but never on my favourite bar.

    Details:
This would allow users to create a more visually appealing and customized browsing experience by replacing the default icon (mostly only mono-color abbreviation letter) to unique icons they find in other places. It will make it much easier to visually identify what websites they are, thus higher efficiency when browsing.

also some favicons in bookmark bar don't look the way they should. For example favicon on github.com must be white when the system theme is dark. This works fine in brave, arc, chrome etc. But in Orion favicon is black, when the theme set to dark. The icon blends in and you can't see it, it looks bad.

Another reason why custom favorite icons would be nice: Some icons, for some reason, are very low resolution. As someone who wants his browser UI to always look "good", this is quite annoying.

Here is an example. Interestingly, the icon for YouTube looks great in Safari, but is very pixelated in Orion. Re-adding to favorites did not solve this issue.

Vlad Just tried it a few times with clean profiles. 3/4 times the (YouTube) icon was in full resolution. The fourth time, weirdly enough, was again pixelated.

Is there some sort of cache I can clear on my main profile such that Orion has to fetch the icons again?
