Steps to reproduce:
These steps assume you have a Bitwarden account set up and the browser extension installed in Orion. Make sure it doesn't have a login / password saved for the hostname app.element.io

  1. Go to https://app.element.io/#/login

  2. Use the following login credentials I made for this bug report:
    username: orion_test_account
    password: testing_for_orion

  3. Click "Sign In"

(At this point, ignore the warnings about not being able to verify the account.)

Expected behavior:

Right after clicking "Sign In", a popup should appear at the top of the page from the Bitwarden extension asking to save this password

Alas it does not happen in Orion. This pop-up does appear in both Chrome and Firefox.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:

Version 0.99.110-beta (WebKit 613.1.12), macOS 10.14.6, 2019 15" MacBook Pro

Hmm I'm not sure how much of this is Orion's or Bitwarden's fault. The popup is always a hit or miss for me, be it on Chrome or Safari.

It could be the extension's fault in a lot of cases. In this case though I found a website where it works consistently in Firefox and Chrome, but not in Orion.

I was also looking for a reason why Bitwarden doesn't pop to offer to update/save a password.

Upvoting. Experiencing this 100% of the time, on either the Chrome or the Firefox extension.
