Using duckduckgo as my default search engine, and every time I search for a new term the page loads quickly, but while it shows up, it "hangs" (becomes unresponsive) to the level that macOS is showing the beachball, and then only after an additional 2-3 (when quick, 5-6 whwn bad) seconds can I really scroll and click any of the results. Only on initial page load or searching again from the address bar in the same tab, if I refine the search result on the page no similar behavior is experienced.
This does not happen with Safari, and it does not happen in private windows. As such I assume it does not happen witha. clean/new profile either.
Initially thought it could be related to my Firefox extensions (running Ublock origin, and Braavos), but even with them disabled behavior is consistent.
The Network activity shows everything being loaded up front, so nothing related to delayed loads.
Did however manage to get a Timeline recording of it happening (also confirming all network activity is within first second), where I can see a "Full garbage collection" being the only activity taking place in the "gap" where it hangs.

Let me know if you want the exported json of the recorded timeline!
Expected behavior: Page loads, results scrollable and clickable immediately.
