Proton Pass (a popular extension Orion browser promotes) has a broken functionality - the click to copy feature that should allow me to copy my emails and passwords with a click does not actually save the item to the clipboard, despite saying so.
I can consistently reproduce the behaviour - attached is a video showing the following:
- My clipboard history is empty (apart from the word test I copied prior to the recording to overwrite the previous contents)
- I go to use Proton Pass and copy the email to my clipboard with a click
- The app confirms it is copied to my clipboard
- Pasting results in the same "test" text pasted - my clipboard did not in fact have the email in it.
- Going back to Proton Pass and manually copying the text with cmd + c works just fine
I have reported this to Proton but I suspect that the browser itself may be to blame as I can't reproduce the issue outside of Orion on my MacBook.
I expect the click to copy function to save the clicked item to my clipboard.
