That feature is great, but it’s not exactly what I originally had in mind. What I was specifically referring to is the part shown in the screenshot: when you are in the normal browser view (not the tab overview) and you long‑press the tab icon, the “Close All Tabs” item appears at the very bottom of the menu.
What I’m suggesting is:
- First, similar to Safari, move “Close All Tabs” away from the very bottom, for example to around the third item from the bottom. This alone would already help prevent accidental taps.
- Then, even if it still gets tapped by mistake, showing a confirmation dialog (“Are you sure you want to close all tabs?”) would stop users from losing all their tabs unintentionally.
In short, by both changing the position of “Close All Tabs” in the long‑press menu and adding a confirmation step, Orion could greatly reduce the risk and stress of accidentally closing every tab at once.
