Links clicked in installed-as-app pages open a new Orion instance

My email client is "installed as an app" and every time I click a link within it, a new instance of Orion opens. For example, here's me clicking the same link 4 times:

I already have Orion open separately; I'd expect that instance to be used.

I'm only running one Profile.

Here to report the same headache. I’m using Phanpy (mastodon client https://phanpy.social) as an Orion WebApp and it otherwise works great.

Given the option I would most prefer links to open from WebApps in my system default browser. My default browser is a browser picker. I like options! Otherwise I would settle for my already open Orion instance.

I have my email and Google Meet set up as webapps in Orion (using Tools > Install this site as an app). Whenever I click on a link from one of those apps, Orion opens a new browser window, with copies of all the open tabs from my current window in addition to the new one.

Links from webapps should be opened as a new tab in the existing browser window (as is the case with links from other apps).

I have the same behaviour
Version 1.0.4 (143), WebKit 624.1.2.19.2, macOS Tahoe Version 26.3 (25D125).

This is problematic since all the tabs of the already open Orion window are duplicated in the new window that also contains the new link tab. The link should open as a new tab in the already open Orion window.
