Until most recent app update, tapping the URL (twice?) would enlarge the URL field by expanding it downward to become a box big enough to show the entire URL as two or more lines of text. The URL could then be readily edited, for example to delete the YouTube &pp= tracking garbage.
The latest update has broken that function; no amount of URL-tapping does anything beyond selecting the whole URL, most of which remains invisible:
