This one only started happening in iOS 26.2. I’ve abstained from opening a bug report since it’s a beta version of the OS, but the release candidate is out and the problem is still there. This does not happen in Safari. I’ve tried this with Nintype and SwiftKey
There’s three bugs all in the same section:
When tapping the URL bar to enter an URL or search term, if you’re on a third party keyboard, the screen will appear empty (I believe it’s positioned off screen? You can’t scroll to it though).
After pressing enter to search, the keyboard will close and the page will remain empty. Sliding the finger on the url bar slightly to change tabs forward and back fixes it.
If you close your keyboard, tapping the URL bar will close it, keeping you in a loop, hold pressing it to show the cursor indicator does seem to work here.
Tapping the search bar should show the site suggestions and not an empty screen.
Pressing enter to search should close the suggestions screen and show the active webpage again
If on the suggestions screen with a closed keyboard, tapping the URL bar should show the keyboard
