Closing tab briefly shows old site from history after closing

When I go to the tabs grid view and close my last tab, the tab slides away and then briefly reappears showing the oldest page in my history. It also does this when opening any new tab.

That should not happen

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue in my testing, would you be able to provide a screen recording of the issue ?
Is it happening 100% of the times for you?
