Raindrop Extension Highlighting

It looks like "Save to Highlights" feature doesn't work in the Raindrop extension (I tried both Chrome and Safari).

Here is the error I noticed in the Console while trying to use this feature, not sure if it's helpful or not:

Let me know if there is anything else I can test.

I expect this feature to work properly, as Safari extension works correctly in Safari and saves highlights with no issues.

I'm afraid the issue is the same on Version 0.99.136-beta.

I just tried both Safari and Chrome extensions, and it doesn't work. All permissions are given according to their docs:

Is there anything else I can check/do?

The raindrop.io bookmark manager lets you highlight text on web pages and it saves these highlights (see below for intended behavior). In Orion, the highlights aren't shown, and I tried both the firefox and chrome extensions.

Install the Raindrop.io extension
Click the extension in the toolbar and log-in with google or similar.
Select some text on the page example page and select "Save highlights" . It may request additional permissions at this point.
See that the highlights are not being persisted.

Note: I have trouble enabling/allowing the Raindrop extension with compatibility mode on, so I was not able to test that way. I did however test with a new profile and faced the same issue.

Expected Behavior (Safari/Firefox)

We see the highlights in Safari.

We see the highlights in Firefox.

Just found out we can install safari extensions so I went ahead and tried the safari one (Save to Raindrop.io.app) in Orion and no dice:

I also looked at the console (as linked in the Manage Extensions menu) and saw these

so maybe the permissions this extension requests when you try highlighting somehow don't get handled. This is what that permissions request looks like:
