Error 403: Forbidden

Hey all, do you guys know about the 403 Forbidden Error? Well, if I’m the first to discuss this, let’s get into this. I was playing Fruit Ninja and head over to the support page to ask the devs something, but I couldn’t find where to contact, when I on the Privacy Policy and got to the page on Safari, a message said “403 Forbidden openresty”. If this happened to you, then show it. (So, how is the Bad Getaway Error coming along?) and yes, I tested this in Safari.

I was expecting nothing from the developers of Fruit Ninja. But if anyone knows why the site is “forbidden” or has been hacked by an unknown person or group, then I want to know bc I haven’t played this game in a while.

To clarify, are you able to view the privacy policy page on Safari? The screenshot you have included seems to be from Safari so I assume you aren't able to access it on any browser on your iPhone.

I assume the page you were trying to access was https://www.halfbrick.com/privacy-policy. However, it works as expected for me. A screen recording of you reproducing the issue would be very helpful, but I have a feeling this is related to something other than your browser choice, given what you have described in your report.

laiz I guess. But I’ll try depends on when I’ll get this to work. I mean like how did it work on yours but not mines? Such a weird feeling. Have you tried any other search engines?

I'm also a little confused; you say you tested this in Safari, not seeing how it's an issue with Orion? You also mention search engines, did Kagi Search direct you to this broken page?

RoxyRoxyRoxy no, I haven’t used that search engine. I only tested this in Safari and Orion. Tho I will test it on Google or DuckDuckGo. If by chance that is.

RoxyRoxyRoxy And I’m also confused too: when you said “how it’s an issue with Orion”, I got this error from the devs of Fruit Ninja, tho I might need another browser to work this on. I was trying to contact them something, but couldn’t find anything useful.

You opened the support page for fruit ninja from the app and are seeing this 403 error?

RoxyRoxyRoxy literally yes. But it opened in Safari, not in the Fruit Ninja app. 🤭

Ok, that makes sense. How is this an Orion bug though?

RoxyRoxyRoxy as I said it opened in Safari as my suggested browser and not Orion. Tho I wrote this because I was wondering if anyone has discussed this error yet. I mean it’s obvious, I can try if any other browsers can at least fix it.

JorgeGarcia OK I think I'm seeing the issue, the page opened in Safari despite having Orion set as your default browser? Have you tried this with any other apps/pages?

@RoxyRoxyRoxy Hi there: here’s an update to the situation: I tested the site on Google (Chrome) and DuckDuckGo. It may possibly work on Bing or Edge, tho maybe they’re the same.

RoxyRoxyRoxy yes they do, but often sites will display other error codes, many which are the site that no longer exists, doesn’t work, works but something is happening, etc. It safe to say that the site mentioned works. (I tried in Safari again and it worked. I literally have no idea why)

Although this is a different error code, it still really doesn’t matter.
