Orion switches Spaces

The last time I opened Orion was in Desktop 1. I then look at Chrome in Desktop 2, and then try to click on Orion in Desktop 3. This will send me back to the Orion window in Desktop 1. If I return to Desktop 3 without looking at Chrome first, everything works fine.

Not able to give consistent steps to reproduce, unfortunately, it happens somewhat sporadically. Sometimes happens when I open a new window of Orion in a new Desktop.

RoxyRoxyRoxy i can try but honestly it happens very incnsistently. maybe it's the linked Tahoe spaces regression, though I don't close any windows before experiencing this bug.

There's a bug in Tahoe about the odd window reopening behavior in multi-space environment: FB18016497. I'm not sure if this bug is related to OP's issue, but I'm bring this up just for reference.

I reported this in beta 1, Apple engineer is also aware of this, but the bug is still there in the latest release (25A354).

found a consistent way to reproduce. have Orion open on Desktop 1, go to Chrome on Desktop 2. right click Orion in dock and open new window, it pops open but then moves me back to the last open Orion window on Desktop 1. will try to get a screen recording when I can
