Netflix Stream Error

I'm getting a S7361-1253 error when trying to play Netflix titles on Orion on desktop.

I think it's a Orion-specific issue since Netflix works fine on Safari. Compatibility mode didn't help. And Disney+ works just fine, so it's not related to DRM support (I think).

Anybody else getting this error on Orion? Or it's just me? Can anyone help me?

RoxyRoxyRoxy I can't say for sure since I switched from Safari to Orion only after updating to Tahoe, but I want to say yes, I think it might have happened even on Sequoia.

I'm getting the same issue with Netflix, same exact error code: S7361-1253. I can also confirm it is not a macOS Tahoe specific error, as I'm running Orion version 0.99.136-beta on macOS Sequoia 15.7. It will play the episode just fine for about a minute, and then the error will just randomly appear. This happens on every single show, no matter what I try (changing website settings, enabling compatibility mode, etc.). I am on a 2023 MacBook Pro, 14-inch, with an Apple M2 Pro Chip, and 16GB of RAM.

I can also confirm that this issue only seems to occur with Netflix specifically, as I have never had any issues on HBO Max. Every single time, I had to resort to streaming on Safari, as this error is far less likely to occur there.

bookerdewitt Thanks for confirming that it's also a problem on Sequoia. I was actually using both Orion and Safari at the same time just so I can stream Netflix titles.

I switched back to Safari yesterday, but Safari's lack of tree-style tabs with unlimited levels in a Webkit browser (because Arc also has unlimited levels with their nested folders) is what's reeling me back in, so much so that I switched back today. So I'm back to using Safari for Netflix and Orion for everything else.

Just checking in after updating to Orion 1.0.0., and congratulations to everyone who worked on Orion in the six years since its initial release! Everyone who hasn't caught up may read about it here.

Alas, the error still persists even with this latest update. I was hoping that it wouldn't be now that Orion is out of beta.

I'm still using Safari. I'd really like to go back to Orion without having to open Safari just for Netflix.
