Extensions show with a X outside of compatibility mode

While visiting orionfeedback.org activating and deactivating the compatibility mode causes icons to appear with a X.

Click Activate Compatibility Mode
Deactivate Compatibilty Mode using Reset button
Icons should appear with a X

The extensions are clickable and work, the icons however appear with a X

Able to reproduce this one. It is luckily just a graphical issue but still misleading.

In the video above, I enable compatibility mode for lobste.rs and then switch to an orionfeedback.org tab. Following the tab switch, the toolbar icons make it seem like orionfeedback.org also has compatibility mode enabled despite that not being the case.

laiz Upon my experience extensions appear to interfere in compatibility mode.
