I don't like to use Kagi Translation for a quick website translation.
For example when I want to translate an article on arstechnica.com, for which I have a Pro subscription. In Orion I'm logged in to that website, so every time I visit it, I'm still logged in.
Now I want to translate an article:
- It's much much slower than for example the local translation in Safari or Edge.
- It doesn't remember my target language (Dutch), so every time I have to change that.
- Often page images aren't loaded, like you see in the screenshot below.
- It's opened with the ArsTechnica website not logged in.
- Every time I get the cookie window, which I have to click away, because it doesn't have the cookie (with the previous choices) from my normal Orion session.
I don't have the above mentioned problems when using Safari, Edge and Vivaldi to name a few.
I get that some prefer AI translation (I'm not), but please also offer a quicker translation option.
Or like how Vivaldi does it. I don't care if it's less perfect; I just want it to be quick.
