It took me a while to understand, but I think I have it as follows, let me know if I'm misunderstanding:
- Click to open the Options menu (circle with 3 dots)
- Click on an item and drag the finger/pointer
Expected behaviour:
As you move the finger/pointer, the item you're hovering should show as "pressed"
Actual behaviour:
Only the initial item remains "pressed" when you hover it, no other item is shown as "pressed" when hovered.

Reason
We're using a different underlying UI component to build these menus compared to Safari's similar menus. The way we build menus allows us to better customise them with coloured images, animations and badges, and a drawback is the behaviour you've discovered.
We're constantly trying to improve our UI and these menus are on our list of things to improve, but nothing is planned in the near future for this one.
