Focus on Orion window when URL bar gets focus

Here is the scenario.

Open Orion (I use focus mode but the problem happens without it)
Open the Web Inspector window
Make sure Web Inspector window has focus
Cmd + Tab to another app
5 Cmd + Tab back to Orion
Cmd + L to focus on URL bar and start typing or press enter to load page

Result:
URL bar gets focus but I cannot type or press Enter to reload the page

What I expected:

Orion let's me type in the URL bar and load the URL

By the way, Safari behaves the way I expect.

Hey, I tried reproducing this on a couple of profiles but I wasn't able to replicate Enter not working. Please see the video below and let me know if I missed something.

I think it is because your Web Inspector was part of your window. Open it as a separate window like I did in this video.

By the way, the upload button in the tool bar at the bottom should have a tooltip. I had to click on it to try and realize it is what I need. I am just afriad it will do something where I loose my typed response.

Yeah that was the missing piece! To be fair, you did mention web inspector window in your initial report, my bad for missing it. I agree that Safari's behavior is what I'd expect as well, as it is quite weird how Orion lets you cmd+L to focus the URL bar but not input anything.

Dhuv Thanks very much for the detailed report. I can reproduce even without the CMD+Tab step--you don't notice any difference in behavior switching apps or not, do you?

This one was addressed in the August 11th release but the same / similar thing happens with textboxes inside a website.. so when Orion is not in focus and you click from elsewhere directly into a textbox inside a website displayed in Orion (i.e. writing an e-mail in the fastmail.fm webinterface), the textbox becomes seemingly active (blinking cursor etc), but it appears the app / Orion itself does not become active & you can't type in said textbox.

Is this closely enough related to this issue here or should I file a separate item for this?
