It can be shown to the right, with the top being aligned with the top of the vertical tab hovered over.
If it reaches the screen border limits, then it can be done in the opposite direction, that is the top,
This is related - not sure if it would deserve its own issue, feel free to split if so.
It would be nice to have vertical tabs always show a screenshot/preview, similar to how OmniWeb used to do it?
Last time I used Omniweb it just scrolled when you had a large number of these tabs open, but perhaps this could also be either configurable to only allow N
number of full-preview vertical tabs, or something similar.
Hi I was using the vertical style tabs and I noticed that you aren't able to see the tab overview like you do in the initial tab bar. I use the tab overview thing quite a bit when using a browser so would it be possible to have this feature in the vertical tabs bar as well?
Thanks!
AshwathSingh NOt sure what you mean?
I mean this tab preview, I was was wondering whether it was possible to have a similar thing show up when using vertical tabs as well
Steps to reproduce:
Expected behavior:
Either the tab preview should be shown, or the settings item should be removed/disabled when vertical tabs are selected.
Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Orion 0.99.124.4.1-beta (WebKit 616.1.14.11.1)
macOS Version 13.4 (Build 22F66)
Mac14,5

I noticed that the tab previews in vertical tabs do exist, but they only show up when you have a lot of tabs open, and even so they are not aligned with where the tab or the cursor is.
Still a bug. But probably just need to be aligned properly.
