Why are we still in beta?

I just realized on the orion homepage, it says we are still in beta.

Why are we still in beta? Orion has been around for years at this point. It is stabile, and has paid users. What are the things that prevent us from announcing a fully stabile version?

There is still some work to be done before Orion 1.0 is ready. Namely on the ad-blocking and password manager extension fronts, not to mention any stability issues.

Plans for Orion 1.0 were outlined earlier this month in the Kagi blog post

Good news, after 6 years in active development, we have committed to exiting beta and officially launching Orion v1.0 in November this year. Between now and then we will be mostly focusing on stability: bug fixes, crashes and extension support. Please be patient, as many new features you all would like us to build will have to wait for after the 1.0 release.
