Question & not a suggestion - I want to sync my Spaces in a new laptop

I used to use my old MacBook Pro M1 & had Orion in it & I have plenty of tabs created in separate spaces & they matter a lot for me. I recently purchased a new MacBook with an M4 & installed Orion.

Both machines have the same iCloud email login, but I really need to figure out how I can sync both of my laptops with the same spaces & tabs in the respective spaces.

I might get rid of the old machine, so I really need to know what the easiest way to get this done.

Hey! I assume Spaces == Profiles. There is no way of syncing them at the moment. However, if you are willing, you can manually move over the relevant files and have your saved windows etc. just the way they were on your M1 MBP.

Saved windows are stored in a hidden file in ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion/Defaults/.local_named_windows.plist Copying this file to the same location on your new device and restarting Orion should be all it takes.

For profiles other than Primary (Defaults in the path I posted above), you will have to figure out which UUID corresponds to which profile and make sure you copy over the correct saved window plist to each profile on your new Mac.

I'm shifting back to Orion for all my browsing. Is there a feature for Split View in planning?

Please follow #80 for updates regarding that. The team seems to have something planned, but it might still be in early stages. Currently, the focus is on launching Orion 1.0, and new features such as split view will likely come after that.
