Mobile versions of websites won’t load. But load fine on safari

All websites load as if I have “request desktop site” checked permanently, even though I don’t have the feature enabled for every site. I can’t load m.YouTube.com for example. It always loads the desktop version

I expected all websites to load mobile by default.

Hey! This does sound unusual.
Did the issues suddenly start, or have you been dealing with this for a while?
Do you have any extensions installed?
Would you be able to share a screen recording of the issue?

Qwant and mobile YouTube work in Firefox for example

Meowzersss also, I disabled ublock. NextDNS. Adblock pro and content blockers on safari as well as Orion. Didn’t seem to fix this. I’m confused

Perplexing indeed, I would have initially suggested disabling extensions but you covered that as well. If it isn't too much effort, could you test whether reinstalling Orion does anything?

I assume you haven't touched your useragent in Settings -> Privacy either.

Embarrassingly, setting my user agent to default seemed to work. Oops! Sorry about that and thanks for the help! Maybe a list of common user agents in that setting menu would help goofballs like me differentiate a desktop browser’s user agent versus a mobile one. Thanks

I'm glad to hear a solution was eventually found! Regarding your idea, you could create a suggestion for additional useragent strings in the User Agent section of the settings.
