YouTube videos continue playing even when the tab is switched

I can have multiple YouTube tabs opened side by side, and when I’m sliding on the address bar to switch tabs, the video in the previous tab (that list focus) will sometimes continue playing even though the current tab is playing.

This cloud also happen when switching to a tab next to a YouTube tab, and the video will start playing even though I never landed on that tab.

Currently using Orion only on iOS

When a tab with YouTube loses focus, the video should stop playing

Did you test without the following setting?
Settings ⟩ Browsing ⟩ Enable Background Audio

Yup @Yannick , first thing I’ve tried, no dice

I’ve seen this thread on Desktop: https://orionfeedback.org/d/203-block-media-autoplay-until-in-foreground , any chance they are related …?
