Description:
When using macOS’s built-in “Move & Resize” feature to snap the Orion window to half of the screen, the layout initially works as expected. However, if Vertical Tabs and Auto-Show Sidebar are enabled, moving the mouse near the left edge causes the sidebar to appear — and the Orion window automatically resizes to about 75% width, overriding the snapped half-screen layout. This breaks the usefulness of macOS window snapping in this configuration.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Orion on macOS.
Enable Vertical Tabs
Enable Auto-Show Sidebar
Use “Move & Resize” feature (top left window controls) to snap the browser to half the screen.
Hover the mouse near the left edge of the window to trigger the auto-show sidebar.
Actual Behavior:
As soon as the sidebar auto-shows, the window resizes to ~ 75% width, overriding the macOS half-screen setting.
Expected Behavior:
The Orion window should remain at 50% screen width after snapping, regardless of sidebar visibility.
