Printing with Dark Mode Page Tweaks

With every other dark mode setting on other browsers, when printing a webpage, pdf whatever, it switches the document back to light mode so it prints normally. When Enabling Dark Mode via Page tweaks, it does not work like so. Printing the contents of a page (i print a lot of records straight from my work site) they print in the dark mode setting. I have to completely turn it off to print. I am not sure if this is an issue on iOS since the mobile version doesn't have page tweaks but this is an issue on MacOS version.

If maybe dark mode can be disabled for printing or what i believe other browsers and certain extensions do is when hitting print, it auto-switches dark mode back into default light mode. Once the print is queued, it auto switches back to your set screen mode.

I enabled Dark Mode in Page Tweaks for this post page and printed it (File->Print), but it did not print in dark mode settings. I tried a PDF also. Maybe I am misunderstanding something, are the printed pages coming out with a black background and white letters? Do PDFs show up in dark mode settings also?

rhyxalia it appears to work fine on some websites and on others it prints in the dark theme printing a black page with white letters. one picture is when i hit control p on the website my company uses, the other one is on wikipedia, sometimes it appears normal in print preview (in the white background with black letters) but it will still print with black background and white letters. when the print preview shows it like that, clicking any setting will then make it (print preview) return to black background white letters.

I was able to replicate the behavior with the same Berserk manga wiki page. Interesting, I don't think that is intentional. @dino ?

rhyxalia it's not intentional, as if other browsers behaves differently for this use case, Orion should also follow that.
