Web clipping extension not working

Steps to reproduce:

Install Evernote Web clipper / Webclipper
Try to clip virtually anything.

For Evernote, sometimes the Loading Web clipper box pop up but could not clip, at other times nothing happens.

Expected behaviour:
A box providing clipping options pop up and choosing one of those send the clip to whatever note taking software it is linked to.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Orion: Version 0.99.109.1-beta (WebKit 613.1.12)
OS version: 12.1 (21C52)
Hardware: M1 Macbook Air, 16GB ram

Other remarks:
I had encountered with this kind of stuff on Firefox. I guess it is caused by tracker blocking and related stuff.

I have the same issue, adding evernote web clipper would be a huge win.

Confirmed still an issue on:
-Version 0.99.125.5-rc (WebKit 617.1.6)

dino yes. I tried on latest version and not work, I tried chrome and Firefox extensions and both not working
I had the same problem with speechify extensions.

Being able to make the Evernote webclipper to work will make this browser perfect and I am even willing to pay for it.

dino Yes, I tried the both extensions (Chrome and Firefox) and the result is the same.

I use this Evernote Clipper extension daily in Safari and Brave and to have it failing here (along with 1Password) is a non-starter, as good as the rest of the software seems so far. Multiple times daily, I need these to work. Hope a fix is in the works. Thanks.

I'm encountering the same issue (which was reported more than two years ago). I switched to Orion last night, only to have this happen this morning.

Evernote web clipper works well with all my browsers on Mac Sequoia except Orion.
I am using Orion Version 0.99.133-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4) newly installed on May 20, 2025. Have tried Evernote Web Clipper for Chrome, and then for Mozilla — neither work. UpNote web clipper works well but I need Evernote.
I have read prior threads of this problem but thought it time to bump the issue since the failure of that clipper in Orion is the reason I can't use Orion, anotherwise useful browser.

To be able to clip a web page.

I really like this brower a lot and would switch from Chrome in a heart beat if the Evernote extension worked. I can subsitute for most extensions that do not work. But the Evernote extension is a deal breaker for me.

I'm not understanding why this issue has not been resolved since this thread was first created in 2022. An explanation of the developmernt problems involved and a road map for resolution would do wonders for my confidence level to continue to use Orion as my primary browser (I'm assuming the same for many others as well).

This really is a very cool browser. Nothing else like it out there. I will pay to use Orion if this issue is resolved. I'm sure the developer would appreciate a few more bucks in the pocket for the work 😁.
