T1OPR Lock should always be visible in order to tell at a glance whether site is secure.
Orion shows a padlock with a diagonal line crossing through it when the site is not using SSL, e.g. https://very.badssl.com
Since the vast majority of websites correctly use SSL, this approach makes the insecure websites more noticeable while also freeing up some of that valuable screen real estate.
