Syncing no longer works between my Mac and iPhone. On Mac today, I saw my iPhone's tabs as they were on February 28. (I would share a screenshot of that, but in trying to debug, I deleted my iPhone device from the Mac list. I got the date because I remembered one of the 6 tabs in the list was ASL Idioms, which was last accessed on my iPhone on February 28.) On my iPhone, I was unable to see my Mac's current tab list. The tab groups were completely out of sync: the groups were different, and the contents in the groups that were the same were different.
In order to troubleshoot, I followed the steps on the troubleshooting page:
- Toggled Orion off and on in the iCloud Drive settings on Mac.
- Toggled the Sync toggle off and on in Orion Settings on Mac.
- Toggled Orion off and on in the iCloud Drive settings on iOS.
- Toggled the Sync toggle off and on in Orion Settings on iOS.
Then, I deleted my iPhone from the devices list on my Mac. I expected this to temporarily delete it and be able to either manually re-add it or for it to re-appear after iOS synced again. However, I haven't found a way to re-add the device, and the device hasn't re-appeared after browsing websites on iOS.
If you could point me to where the data should be stored, I'm handy with a terminal and could look up relevant data to continue debugging.
I expect Tab groups and current tabs to be synced between Mac and iOS, as they were before February 28.
