The plug-in will be like this after the first installation. It works fine on Safari.

AdGuard cannot load the initial page and displays abnormally.

Orion uses the Adguard's rule converter library and soon will support also the scriptlets in the Adguard's filterlists so if you use Orion built in content blocker is basically using Adguard, maybe there's some little difference but not so much.
I say this as an Adguard paying user.
Try load your favorites filterlists directly in Orion's content blocker
