Hi,

I moved from Safari to Orion mainly for the navigation through windows with cmd + tab and am pleased with it.

But.

Switching to Orion (Version 0.99.131-beta) made me lose the ability to open links in new tabs in the background like every browser does when click + cmd + shift.

However this feature is very convenient in my workflow, avoiding time consuming back and forths to first tab that contains several links I want to open…

Can we espect to see it added in some future version..?

Thx
tpss

Simply add the feature : click + cmd + shift open the link in a new tab in the background

    Hey!
Every single browser I tested for this post behaved the same:
⌘+click opens a link in a new tab and does not make it active
⇧⌘+click opens a link in a new tab and makes it active

Both Orion and Safari function the same in this regard. Orion's behavior can be further configured in the settings, allowing you to make ⌘+click open links in new tabs and make them active.

    Does this match your experience?

    OMG it was…
    Thanks !

But… why not going further and add the ⇧⌘+click = opening in the background when "when opening in a new tab, make it active" is selected ?
The expected behaviour is allways a reverse action when ⇧ is pressed in a shortcut, isn't it ?
I fell strange having the same effect with ⇧ pressed or not…

Edit : in Safari the behaviour can be reversed, you can choose one or the other if you like it or not, I use allways (since decades) the ⇧⌘+click for background and the ⌘+click for active

    No one is typing
