Say you just viewed a YouTube video, and there is a link in the description. You right-click it to open it in a new tab.

As you can see, the URL is correct. The link "https://www.youtube.com/redirect?xxxxxx" redirected me to "https://kiwix.org/en/".

But the favicon seems not correct.

Then, you clicked a link on that page. Only found out it navigated to a link on YouTube.

It should be "https://kiwix.org/en/applications/", but now it's "https://www.youtube.com/en/applications".

Therefore, it shows 404.

In summary, the browser somehow preserved the host of the redirection link and added it to any link that goes next.

This should not happen. I can't reproduce this bug consistently, but it does happen from time to time. And if it happens, it will always occur on the same source page. (In this case, it will occur on all the links from this YouTube page until I close it.)
