Allow Favorites to not show in "Frequently Visited"

Provide a setting (or make it the default) to preclude "Favorites" from being included in the list of "Frequently Visited" sites on the Start Page.

I tend to frequently visit my Favorite sites - that is why I made them Favorite sites. As Orion currently works if I show both Favorites and Frequently Visited on the Start Page many sites show up multiple times.

With Safari this does not occur - Favorites do not show up in the Frequently Visited list.

This would simplify the Start Page and Favorites would not frequently show up in two places.

After internal discussions, we've determined that certain scenarios unfortunately necessitate this functionality:

If there are 100 Favorites, we will only display a maximum of 24 on the Start Page (the rest will be hidden under "Show More"). Consequently, any website a user frequently browses might no longer be readily available. This would force the user to either remove the website from Favorites or expand a list of 100 Favorites to access it, resulting in a cluttered Start Page, which users would likely dislike.

What happens when a user opts out of displaying Favorites on the Start Page?

I understand the reasoning but in my situation I only have 20 or so favorites and i only visit 10-15 pages frequently. Hence I have several duplicates in Favorites and Frequently visited. I much prefer the Safari functionality where they aren't repeated.

dino - very true but I find them very useful ... when they are not duplicates of my Favorites.

As I mentioned above it is an area where I find Safari's implementation preferable.
