Importing Safari extensions incompletely

When importing two Safari extensions (1Blocker and Wipr 2), only two specific parts of those extensions are imported: 1Blocker Scripts and Wipr Extra. See the screen recording for reference.

Are the entire extensions being installed, or only these two parts? I presume extensions can't be installed on iOS so haven't tried to replicate this there.

oplos Orion only supports Safari web-extensions, and that's why only available web-extensions from selected apps are installed on Orion, because remaining are Content Blocker extensions.

dino Further to the above, I was wondering whether imported Safari web-extensions are updated on Orion when their respective apps (e.g. Wipr 2 and 1Blocker) are updated, or whether they have to be re-imported for this.

oplos from my understanding, safari extensions are proprietary

oplos Yes, atleast the Content-Blocker extensions, as they contains a JSON file holding content filter rules.

oplos You can update existing web-extension from Extensions Library window by pressing Update button, so no need to re-import.
