When closing the 'header' tab of a list of stacked tabs, it doesn't feel intuitive to have the top tab become the new header tab. See the screen recording for reference. I don't use vertical tabs on iOS so am unsure whether this behaviour is replicated there.
It would feel more intuitive if all of the tabs in the list got shifted to the left, so that there is no longer a header tab.
