Bear.app web clipper does NOT work

The Bear.app web clipper extension does not work from Firefox or Chrome. I am able to install the extension and even edit options for it, but as soon as I try to use it, you can see that a dropdown window starts to form, but then disappears.

Bear notes does have a native a Safari extension that is available when Bear is installed. Is it possible to allow that one?

I desire the extension to work as it does on other browsers, which includes clicking on the icon in the toolbar have it web-clip the web page, and in Chrome & Firefox, there are more clipping options available.

Joplin web clipper does not work as well. There is probably a common API which is not supported?

I would like this plugin to work also.

Recently they updated the Bear Webclipper to 2.0. I have tired Chrome, FF, and Safari versions and it still does NOT work. It works great in Safari.app.

Anything I can do to provide more info to get this fixed?
