  • New search tab doesn't put text in the correct place when used immediately

  • BugsDesktopPlanned

I have my new tab set to open kagi search, when I create a new tab and immediatley start typing, what I'm typing starts going into the top search bar, then switches to the kagi search input when it fully loads, and splits what I was typing up in a disorienting way. So I have to wait for everything to load before typing but I find the delay pretty significant.

I understand that the text will default to the top bar until the search page loads but it hasn't happend in other browsers I've used. I would expect the text I was typing to automatically move itself to the proper search input, or as in Chrome you could just not bother scwitching my input to go to the true search bar when I start typing that quickly.
