A web extension I use heavily for work will not work. It will install from the Chrome Web Store just fine.

After installing, when I click the extension I get this:

I have already granted these permissions; clicking 'allow' merely sends the window away. But clicking the extension opens the same error window again.

Usually this extension places a little button in Google Apps (docs, classroom, slides) as well as websites. Clicking the button allows users to generate content based on what is on screen, or in Google Docs, it generates comments on docs.

    Thanks @theseanbird

We are trying to make as many browser extensions as possible compatible. However, we are a small team, and it is not always possible to keep up with the technological choices of developers. Rest assured that we are doing our best to keep up. Thank you for your report, which we will take into consideration.

Yannick Thank you! Very impressive what you have built. Are there experimental features you'd recommend I try enabling? I try not to mess with those but if you suggest a few I could try I could report back in case this affects other extensions for others too.

Thank you for the kind words.
Actually, everything is a bit experimental, or should I say, in beta.
We are working like hell to have a final release in March.

Extensions will still be a problem as developers don't always use the recommended path.

Anyway, try the Focus Mode; I think you will love it. View > Enable Focus Mode

The last update almost fixed it! Now the extension actually works! However, it won't let me log in using Google Authentication, so I'm stuck using the free version of the extension. I can hit log in, and enter my Google Authentication information, but when I return to the page to use the extension I'm not logged in. I've tried reloading, compatibility mode tweaks, etc. So this is progress, because at least some functionality is there now!

Again, I recognize this is a fringe extension not necessarily warranting your time--the browser is growing so fast! I love it! But I mention because maybe there are other Chrome extensions out there relying on Google Authentication which also struggle with this currently? Keep up the great work! Love the browser and love Kagi!
