This is happening to me too. First opening a link "in background" as new tab on macOs would make Orion crash, but I could just restart it. Since a week ago, the browser crashes every single time I open it, rendering it useless.
I wonder if there's a way to enable some kind of safe mode (extensions disabled), or otherwise reset enough state to escape this loop?
I'm on Sequoia 15.3 and Orion version is 0.99. I have only two extensions IIRC, Firefox uBlock origin and a Pocket app (can't recall the name).
