Allow keyboard shortcuts to be assigned to context menus

I would like an easy way to close a tab tree. What I'd most prefer is configuring ⌘W to close the tree instead of the tab if a tree is selected, but I can understand that's probably a weird option and not worth your time to implement.

I thought maybe I'd configure a weirdly specific keyboard shortcut to activate the close tree feature, but it doesn't work - because the macOS keyboard shortcut system only applies to the menu bar.

If the context menu items were available in one of these menus it would allow me to assign a shortcut to them.

Ah, I had heard of that tool but didn't consider how it might be possible to automate opening the context menu. Thanks for the tip!

Are there any shorter ways to close a tree that I haven't found? Maybe something like holding shift when clicking the close button? 🤔
