How does one post in https://orionfeedback.org/t/help ?
Is it disabled intentionally?
Can we not have more generic discussion that are neither bugs nor suggestions, e.g. "how do I do X in Orion?"

You are right, it is not simple as I thought. This is mainly becuase we currently recognize only two modes - feature or bug report. Not sure if we want to turn this into a help forum actually. The preferred way to get information would be the documentation (which is open source and editable) and asking questions on our discord.
Would that work?
To add to Vlad's comment, we pay special attention to the questions we receive on Discord and if something somehow isn't answered in the Kagi/Orion documentation, we will be sure to add that information there. A lot of information can be lost in various Discord servers but we are doing everything we can to preserve the knowledge in the documentation.
I understand creating a Discord account is not for everyone and that is one of the downsides of this approach as the people in that group are unable to ask their questions.

Discord is fine. I guess users just need to learn about it and hopefully it's easy to search and discover past questions/answers. Also not sure what their retention policy is, if it's anything like Slack, good discussions might get lost.

i see that there is a section of the forum for "questions"—posts that are neither bugs nor feature requests
i have a question myself (not a feature suggestion) and probably? not a bug
but i dont see a way to post directly to the questions sub forum
being able would be more efficient than posting my question as a bug and having mods manually sort it
perhaps it would also promote more asking of good questions because maybe other users like me get nervous about posting misplaced questions

Hey, we recently had a discussion about this. I have flagged this thread as a dupe of that discussion. The outcome was that we should focus on bugs and suggestions on the forum, and use the Kagi Discord server, and our extensive documentation page for questions. Still, if you'd rather ask a question here, please reply to this message and I'll answer it to the best of my abilities.
