The screen edge gestures are incredibly sensitive - like a pixel or two of swiping triggers the assigned action.
They should behave exactly like the rest of iOS gestures.

Cannabat please describe the expected behavior for these gestures with concrete examples of the ones you like. Also it would be helpful to understand how does this break your usage scenario ie how is this a problem since thes are basic gesture handlers provided by system. We need to understand how to modify their behavior so it does feel natural and does not annoy you
michael Hi Michael,
Sure, here is a screen recording. I'm not sure how to have it show my finger contacts but I hope it's clear in the video.
Note that on Orion, I am swiping from the screen edge towards the middle of the screen, and the gesture is activated (no matter how extremely slowly I swipe) after only a small percentage of the screen width is swiped. This only happens on Orion, no other apps are so sensitive.
On Safari, I can slowly swipe and it only triggers the gesture after swiping all the way to the opposite side of the screen, OR when I swipe quickly for a small percentage of the screen width.
I'd like for the screen-edge gestures to function like they do in Safari (and all other areas of iOS).
This issue still occurs but only very occasionally.
Unfortunately due to how seldom it occurs, I don’t think I’ll be able to figure out how to reproduce. But every few days, one swipe from the screen edge will trigger too quickly as I described in this issue.
I think it’s only the the swipe in from left screen edge, but that may be because I use that gesture far more often than the right edge gesture.
It happens consistently for me. Here's a video, if I can manage to upload it.
This is an iPad mini, I think the latest generation (or it was when I bought in August 2021).
