Newly opened blank tabs listed as "Failed to open page"

When I open a blank/homepage new tab, it shows up as "Failed to open page" in the tab list until I actually load a site in it.

The title for newly opened blank tabs should not refer to an error since no error occurred.

Hm I am not able to reproduce this work as it should. Does it behave same way if you leave and press + on the toolbar?

Yes and as a matter of fact, when I launch the app the start page is already called "Failed to open page" in the tab list.
