"Failed to open page" on local IP address since 0.99.130-beta

Immediately since Desktop Version 0.99.130-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4), accessing local webpages via their IP address yields the following error:

You Are Not Connected to the Internet
This page can’t be displayed because your computer is currently offline.

Other browsers work. Orion iOS works.
Disabled and even deleted all extensions.
I even fully Reset Orion

My 'hosts' file is:

gp Thank you! That was it. Orion was not permitted local access. I don't know how that happened and I'm pretty sure I was never prompted to allow or deny this before. But it did happen the moment I upgraded.

I had the same issue and indeed the same solution: after giving Orion the permission to access the local network all was good. Perhaps the error page should include this tip?

Hi I got the same issue since I updated Orion.
I'm currently on latest public beta (0.99.131.0.1-beta) and can't say which beta I was on before.
I already checked in macos settings to enable local network for Orion, but for me it didn't change anything.
The webpage is not loading, but I also don't get any error. It's as if the page was trying to load indefinitely.

When using Safari everything is fine and I can ping the IP.
It's also not related to one IP, I checked for two different local IPs.

I've got the same issue. I cannot reach the IP addresses but I can reach the domains.
Doesn't work: 192.168.1.101
Does work: internal.jrh.com (resolves to 192.168.1.101)

I see nothing in the web inspector, it just hangs. The page doesn't ever timeout.
Checking Wireshark when doing the connection I see 2-way traffic but no data on the page.

My version: Version 0.99.131.0.1-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4)
OS Version: Version 15.3.1 (24D70)
Hardware: M2 Pro

I did some further digging on this and the issue seems to be a conflict between Orion and uBlock Origin extension.

Page doesn't load

If I add my IP address as a exception on uBlock
If I turn off uBlock on the page as the below

Page loads

It will only load when I deny the application permission on the page via Orion

uBlock logs

This shows that uBlock is loading the page
