Popover overflow menu specifically for extensions

In Orion, extensions take up a significant portion of the toolbar.
They can be moved into the overflow menu, but that's a generic menu for any toolbar item.

A better implementation of the extensions in the toolbar would be:
The toolbar has an extensions button which is a popover that displays all your extensions as icons.
When the icon for an extension is pressed, it shows its settings.
From that popover, you can drag the extension into the toolbar if you wish to have it 'pinned'.

This feature will provide the user with better UX, and save on limited toolbar space.

Vlad Yeah, but what i've been trying to say is the overflow menu works for everything..
a menu specifically for extensions or even something like a dropdown under the overflow menu might prove more effective for UX's sake

this is what most browsers do -- they separate their implementation of an overflow menu from their extensions menu

At least for myself, I was really happy to see the direct integration of the extensions into the same menu as other, native macOS toolbar controls. That's one less item I actually need wasting space on my menubar, unlike FireFox, where I'm forced to have both:
