Using the very excellent Version 0.99.130-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4) - if you pull a tab outside the window, which normally places that tab into a new window, this crashes the browser instead.

A video of this happening is here - note that the "spinning beachball of death" does not appear on a Quicktime video recording for some reason, but you can hear me describe the spinning beachball of death even if you only see a pointer.

To reproduce: Open two tabs. Pull the tab title outside the containing window.

  • What should happen: a new Orion window with the contents of the tab
  • What actually happens: Orion is unresponsive with a spinning beachball.

This bug is still present in Version 0.99.130.1-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4) if it helps to know. It's quite a serious bug, since you (can) lose all work, given the entire thing crashes.

nrudnyk Thanks! In Version 0.99.130.2-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4) it's fixed, I notice.
