Okta is a centralized SSO service that many companies (like mine) use to consolidate account logins across a bunch of different services. You need to have the extension installed to access some of the services, and the extension also provides a micro version of the larger web app.

Steps to reproduce:
This might be difficult to test without an account, but if you install the extension it won't recognize or use the browser's login credentials.

Orion and macOS:
<Version>
Orion 0.99.109.1
macOS 12.2 developer seed

    Also, when signed into the Okta web app via Orion I keep being prompted to download and install the Okta Extension App from the Mac App Store. I guess because it identifies Orion as Safari?

      Any updates here? This is the #1 thing preventing me from adopting orion at work (using extensively outside of work already).

        obroc We have 1,500 issues on the site, many of them being #1 reason people can not use Orion. We are a team of three. Thanks for understanding. Considering supporting the project by becoming a paid user or Sponsoring this issue.

          Support for this extension would be very useful, especially given Orion's latest "Profiles" feature. Being able to quickly access and launch an org's Okta applications saves so much time—once you have this working in Safari/Chromium/Firefox, you really miss. Consider me a new sponsor of this one 🙂

            This is a big blocker for me using Orion with work. I have sponsored this issue 🙂

              Thanks. What are the easiest steps to reproduce this given we do not use Okta?

                Vlad You may struggle. What is it you need? I'm happy to help debug, provide logs etc..

                Plugin Installed > Okta Logged in > Plugin doesn't detect Okta is logged in.
                Either Chrome or Firefox plugin

                  Yes, I can send logs if you'd like!

                    I'm wondering if it because Okta is seeing it as Safari (without plugin installed, it prompts to install plugin = redirect to appstore version) so it must be something extension specific between the website and extension..

                    The requirement is Install Extension > Login to domain.okta.com > Extension then sync's and gets apps.

                    Tested;
                    User Agent: Default with Both Extensions = Not working
                    User Agent: Firefox with Firefox Okta Extension = Not working
                    User Agent: Chrome with Firefox Okta Extension = Not working
                    User Agent: Chrome with Chrome Okta Extension = Working

                      jake Logs will not help us. We need to be able to reproduce correct/incorrect behavior when we decide to work on this.

                      So we need clear steps to reproduce.
