Updating RC opens duplicate profile icon on dock [Mojave]

Repro steps:

1. Make a new profile, set it to default.
2. When the profile is on the dock, select 'Keep in Dock' under 'Options'.
3. Check for Updates > Update > Relaunch.
4. The app will close on the dock and it'll launch a duplicate profile app (2) instead of launching the original profile app. (1)

This does not actually create a duplicate profile, just that it makes two icons on the dock instead of one.

I forgot to take a screenshot at the time so I've made a mockup shot. 1 is my actual profile, 2 is the duplicate.

Normally it should relaunch the original profile that's already on the dock instead of duplicating it.
This has been happening for the past few versions of RC now.
