History database is not cleared

Selecting History – Clear History or Reset Orion – Clear History only removes the links from the user interface, but ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion/Defaults/history history-shm
and history-wal are not cleared.

Still finding this in browser even if save no history option is selected.. the database has history just not shown to user on front end. Feels weak promise of privacy. Is this a bug?

Confirmed - "History > Clear History..." doesn't clear the history data properly, and there's no difference between the "history" sqlite file before/after.

Second test - doing a "Reset Orion" from the main app menu (with the following settings):

And the history file following that clear operation:

The remove history items "after Orion exits" feature also doesn't work - create a clean profile (fully deleted the Orion RC directory), then browse to 3 sites. Close the tabs. Close Orion. Reopen it. Close it again. The history file contains reference to the 3 sites visited and the URLs accessed, contrary to what is expected from this feature.

After telling Orion it should clear History and Clear Cookies on exit , it still retains both. In image-1 you see the settings and to the left you see previously browsed subreddits still retained when I am logged out. in Image-2 you see all cookies still stored from previous session.

I Also used Find Any File app to delete everything to do with "Orion" and did a fresh install , only to be surprised that my previous settings were still retained including setting Brave as my default search engine. How is that even possible?
