When going to Slashdot.org the web loads but then it t fails and a pop up appears, saying that there was an issue with the as blocker. It redirects to a website indicating that there is a problem with Malwarebytes (I am on mobile so that does not apply) and that
“ Error: iframe load error: safari/firefox iframe timeout”

Slashdot was loading fine until a few days ago so I assume this might be on their side but just in case there is a fix.

it works for me but I'm on ios 17:
I checked again and also happens on Orion (RC) on desktop. Slashdot starts to load, some adds appear, and then after a few seconds the same pop up appears on screen.

yes I was able to reproduce with default filterlist.
The weird thing is that I have hagezi's blocklist system wide, if I load slashdot.org with the default filterlist they load a lot of ads before displaying the error message, disabling all filterlist let me load slashdot.org correctly with no ads because the dns blocklist system wide.
weird, is like a dns bypass? those ads that loads before the error message should not load in the first place with dns filtering.
can it be more of a Easylist problem than an Orion problem?

I know it's 4 y.o. but still...
today the problem on slashdot persist, other sites loads but with ads and nags.
no problem with other filterlists
This should now be fixed on the latest RC build on desktop using the default blocklists.
Hopefully the fix will land on iOS soon as well.
