Large text in URL search bar

The latest TestFlight update made the text in the URL bar huge when the keyboard is out. The font size reverts to normal when the URL bar returns to its original position.

I looked through the changelog and saw https://orionfeedback.org/d/8401-text-size-glitch-in-addresssearch-bar regarding dynamic text sizes. I have confirmed that my text size in display setting is at the lowest value and that all larger/bold text accessibility options are off.

The URL bar looks fine on Safari.

I also noticed the URL bar increased in height with this update. It’s not a huge deal, but it does mean less real estate and I want to make sure it was intentional.

I have set the size to fixed 17points no matter of dynamic font size.

Adapting the address bar to support dynamic sizes is a bigger work item, and while it looks good for you at minimum font it does not look great at bigger fonts.

I'll see if I can maybe cap the font size up to a certain limit

Right, it looks like the URL bar is using dynamic size, while the keyboard input is using fixed size. I see why you increased the height, because it probably crops at max font size.

It sounds like you plan to fully support dynamic font size, which makes both visual glitches go away:

Make the URL bar height proportional to dynamic font size
Make keyboard input font size dynamic

Is that correct?
