UBlock Origin Lite unable to function [Mojave]

Repro steps:

1. On a current or new profile, install the extension from Github or the Chrome Store.
2. Right-click on the extension in the toolbar, selcet Options. (Left-clicking on it does not show its settings.)
3. The window would briefly show and then it closes itself.

The extension does not appear to actually work on RC or Beta.

Sometimes the extension on the toolbar would be grayed out and it'd show this:
"Extension not permitted on this website" despite it being allowed in the Site settings.

Edit: Firefox uBo Lite does show the options page but it's unable to save its settings.

uBlock Lite should able to do what it does normally, like Origin.
